The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was in a spot not to be missed and the homemade breakfasts were certainly made and presented with love. The rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. Location was great.

Toast, cereal and pastries in the terrace where always delightful. Marvellous location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed.

The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the Old Town and close to the beach. Breakfast included good local sweets, though it could benefit from more savory options. The staff was accommodating, helping with local transportation. The room lacked extra pillows, and the shower could use better water temperature regulation. While the views were amazing, the noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable.

The owners were very friendly, room very well cleaned, nice decoration and an amazing breakfast served by the owners on the top of the building with a fantastic view to the sea. I would definitely recommend the Malu b&B. Everything was perfect!

The suite was very spacious, modern and clean with a lovely view across to the old town of Polignano. The breakfast taken on the hotel rooftop terrace was very good with homemade cakes, yoghurt and figees. The owner Paolo made us feel very welcome from the start with a tour of the b&b
Could have done with more storage space for clothes

The location stands out, just a short walk to the old town and right next to the beach. I had a sea view room with a balcony, fantastic. The views from the terrace during breakfast were very nice. Enjoying homemade pastries while overlooking the Adriatic made mornings very special. Staff provided plenty of local recommendations. The bedding wasn't the best quality, with only one pillow per person. Breakfast, while varied, could use a bit more variety in the main offerings. The air conditioning was inconsistent. Parking was a challenge as it wasn't close, though staff helped guide me. I would definitely return for the views and location, but some adjustments would elevate the stay significantly.

The hotel owner stayed up to wait for us at 00.30 (delayed flight) and gave us a complete tour of the B&B. Very enthusiastic and with the typical Italian flair. His assistance is seeking a local specialist (back injury) was excellent. A good breakfast with homemade cakes on the terrace with a view on the sea: best way to start your day. Very modern and clean room!

We stayed here 2 nights at the end of a 2-week holiday in Italy. The location of this b&b is absolutely perfect. Just 40 min. Drive from Bari Airport and outside the old town, so you can park you (hired) car in the street and walk to the beach and the historic centre. Loads of good restaurants in walking distance and right down your street. We stayed in the suite with an extra bed for our 4 year old son and we loved our stay in every aspect. The view on the historic centre from our own balcony was stunning, and you can have a great time just sitting there and watch the Italians in the evening when the town comes to life and walk down your street. The breakfast is perfect, all kinds of homemade sweets and even homemade yoghurt, served on the roof terrace! The b&b is being run by a really nice Italian family! On the day we departed we had to leave early, but they made sure we still could have breakfast before we left. The decoration of this b&b is exactly like the pictures show and we loved it. We would definitely stay here again and we thought Polignano is a well worth another visit. Lively, beautiful and with loads of young people creating a nice buzz.

The amazing view from the balcony. Breakfast was nice, but the limited choices got a bit repetitive. A little more variety would've been awesome 😊

The views of the old town and the sea are great from the rooms with a sea view. The room was large, comfortable and modern. The breakfast was excellent and the family that run the Malu are all extremely friendly and helpful. The Old Town was delightful, especially in the evenings and there was lots of choices for dining whether on a budget or for those with more expensive tastes. The Malu was value for money and we would certainly recommend the Malu for those looking for a bit of luxury and good views, but at a sensable (not cheap!) price.
It would have been even better if, like modern American B&B's, the Malu had bikes and beach beds it could lend out to its guests.
